Tools
The site is currently built using
Website Markup Language (WML) on Apple MacBook Pro. The files are then uploaded with sitecopy to
GoDaddy and served from there.
Prior to 2007, it was built on
Debian Linux. The Linux editing has variously been done in
VIM, Kate and xemacs.
The previous edit cycle, on windows, was started with edit.com
(as in a small program under DOS, not a web site) and finished
with VIM for windows.
The site was created on the HP/Apollo system at
Cornell with VI.
My HTML resource then, and since, has been
this site., a browser comparison chart, and A List Apart, among others.
